Oklahoma

My parent's backyard
Made it alive and well to Oklahoma, my first stop in the next few weeks of adventures. I made good time from Winston-Salem and arrived at 10:45 central time, almost exactly 16 hours of driving. Sheesh. I got out of the car and immediately heard the surprisingly soothing sound of lowing cows in the pastures surrounding me. Ah, good to be home. As I was getting ready for bed, I heard the yipping of coyotes from every direction. That's more erie than soothing. A gentle reminder not to take a late night summer walk while I'm home. It's probably more freaky hearing them than actually dangerous, but still.

Well, we've still got 15 days left on Michael and I's fundraiser. I'll continue to shamelessly ask for your continued support. Before I left, Michael had just finished making the cd's of our concert. I was well pleased with how it came out. We delivered two of our orders already, and the others will be on the way shortly.
